Take Back Your Well-Being

About Inner Care

Would you like a natural way to reduce your anxiety and stress levels?
Would you like a new way forward to more satisfying relationships?
Would you like something constructive to do when you are triggered, instead of lashing out at the people you’re closest to?
Would you like a greater sense of security and belonging?
Would you like to be seen, heard, appreciated, and loved?

If you answered ‘YES’ to any of those questions, then you may very well enjoy Inner Care !

Inner Care is a safe, proven method for effecting change in one’s life. It is a natural meditative process that empowers you to facilitate your own healing and development. Inner Care gives you a low-cost alternative to psychotherapy – or a way to make your therapy more effective.

Inner Care is:
  • Cost-effective – once you learn how to do it, it’s free for life!
  • Evidence-based – it’s rooted in extensive research on how people change for the better.
  • Fun – you will be amazed and amused by what you discover in yourself.

Technique
Inner Care is based on a methodology called Focusing. Focusing was discovered through a major research project at the University of Chicago in the late 1960s into how people change for the better. By analyzing people's progress through years of therapy, researchers identified one key factor that predicted positive transformation. Then, they worked out how best to teach others this key to transformation, and that is how Focusing was born. Today, people practice Focusing all over the world. You will find a wealth of information and research at focusing.org .

Sara Snyder, founder of Road to Radiance, has been a Certified Focusing Trainer since 2007. She has developed specific applications of Focusing and synthesized Focusing with various other forms of somatic psychology to develop the Inner Care process.

During an Inner Care session, you expand your awareness to integrate your mind and body. This process enables you to safely access your subconscience and organically resolve underlying hurts, blocks, and conflicts.

Inner Care can be practiced alone, but it is both easier and more potent with a witness. Road to Radiance is building a network of women who are trained to support each other in Inner Care, so that members can have the benefit of this transformational practice at a very low cost.

About Sara

My resume holds a bouquet of degrees, certifications, and professional experience, but that’s not what matters most.
What matters most is my true life’s work: healing from the effects of developmental trauma. I have been on the path of post-traumatic growth for more than 20 years, searching out and delving into the most effective healing modalities I could find, including Continuum, Continuum Montage, Focusing, InterPlay, Family Constellations, Vision Therapy, and other meditative and perceptual practices.
And I am still on the path, because post-traumatic growth is not a linear process: it is an upward spiral with exhilarating expansions and inevitable regressions. And, as you will discover, it is a sacred, awe-inspiring, transformative journey that evolves you to a level of power, wholeness, awareness, and sensitivity that you would otherwise not reach.

Now that I have found relief and gained strength, now that I have found my way from a wounded deer to a giant jungle cat, I feel honor-bound to help others make their way up the spiral to health.

I started Road to Radiance because I have been touched by the magical experience of seeing people light up across from me. When you access your life force, the energy that emerges is so positive and so powerful, it energizes everyone around you. As Marianne Williamson said, “As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” If I can help that happen, there’s nothing more valuable I can do.

I am here with all the tools in my kit – Inner Care, music, voice, language, and creative movement – to help people shine from the inside out.

The world needs your light. I would be honored to be your mentor and companion on the Road to Radiance.
